For this year, we created "Wat Bangpliyaiklang" as a festival area. If you want to come here you can come here by Thepharak road and Bangna-Trad street. If you come here by Thepharak road, the temple is far from Big C Supercenter-Bangpli about 500m. If you come here by Bangna-Trat street, the temple is located on Bangna-Trat KM.13rd.
For denied traffic jam, the best choise for coming here is transport bus or Taxi because here is too small parking.
Oct,11,2011 about 8.30 am. You will see our festival from riverside. The first boat is consist of The Buddha statue and beautiful flowers, important flower for this festival is Lotus because the name of festival is "Rub Bua Festival" mean to recieving lotus (Bua = Lotus, Rub = Recieve). When the boat move passing you, you have to throw lotus flower to the boat. If you can't, it's mean to Bad Luck for your expect. If you can throw lotus to the boat and your lotus still in the boat, not fall into a river, that's mean to Good Luck !!
After the buddha statue pass away, the second kind of boat is beautiful boat from each district is coming for attend a competition as creative style boat, beautiful style boat and comedy style boat.
Moreover boat parade, you can see another activities around riverside area. In the photo below is ancient sea boxing, both sides of boxer will sit on the timber and they will fight. Who fall into a river, that's mean to Lost !!
Other corner of festival, you will see Thai culture show, Thai dance, Thai ancient food, Thai ancient sport and Thai ancient activities.

The product from local peoples here which made from clay, not too much expensive. It's just only $10 a piece. It use for keeping pen or pencil on working table.
